We've been planning to check out this new place for a while and finally popped in for a Sunday brunch. It was a very pleasant experience with delicious food, coffee and a warm welcome from the owner. The atmosphere is great: good music, nice decor, fresh flowers and a friendly dog checking out the guests. We'll definitely be back with friends!
A wonderful afternoon spent with Alan and his human pals. A great afternoon of delicious food and fabulous drinks selection. The staff are so friendly and helpful, my dad and I felt we walked in as strangers and left as friends.
Popped in for lunch, everybody's choices were well presented and liked by all. Plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink choices. Host was charming and made everyone relaxed. Minor issue for me was it was cooler than I like. Door and window were open to let air in, others in the group were unbothered.
I’ve just recently moved to the local area and was keen to find some dog-friendly places with decent food - I FOUND IT! We were kindly welcomed by the owner and his lovely dog, we ordered our food and it arrived really promptly. The wine selection is great, you’ve also got some good options for beers and ciders too. Overall great value for money, we had 4 tapas plates, 1 bottle of wine and 2 glasses of other wine and it came to a reasonable £75. Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu.
came for a hot drink, absolutely loved the atmosphere! the main dog is just adorable and there were so many other cute dogs about! staff are really friendly as well
Really great addition to the area. Great atmosphere, a really good menu, great drinks (as you’d expect, it’s linked to the Brandling Villa). Good for food, drinks or a coffee any time of the day.
One of my favourite little spots, made the perfect venue for a belated Christmas work get-together. Service is excellent - relaxed, friendly, and knowledgeable. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including some specials from the blackboard and cheese / charcuterie. Plenty of wine to choose from, great cocktails, and a guest appearance from Arlo the basset hound.
Great place with outside space. We had a couple of glasses of wine and some really nice small plates of food. Both excellent. Highly recommend.
